Run Away!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My business partner did the first few steps of dealing with the sales and leasing folks for buying a digital heatFX printer for garment printing. As partner, the contract eventually came to me to look over and sign. I pulled the brakes and had tons of questions for them to clarify and make sure that we could come to a "meeting of the minds" in fully understanding how we interpret the contract terms. Due Diligence/Asking questions + an unequivical meeting of the minds. 1) I boldly stressed that if we purchase the printer in Sept of 2019 that we intend to pay it off in Jan/Feb 2020 (4 months later) when we get our income tax return. I made sure I highlighted these questions as top priority concerns before signing this contract. I asked about pre-payment penalties, and if I could pay off the equipments 10,499$ price and whatever the finance charges, admin fees etc. I repeatedly asked with great emphasis that this was my intent and that I could do this without any surprises or huge exorbitant costs/fees. I was told that I could pay it off at anytime without consequences or any big surprise fees. 2) Why was this contract heavy with the term lease because I was expecting to read something that is similar to an auto purchasing contract or something that was a finance to own. And If this isn't a finance to purchase scenario that is similar to buying a car, for example, Then I am not signing this contract because I do not want to pay all this money and not own anything in the end. She said, "No, its a lease this to own, (sighs) I've asked them to change the wording because it confuses people all the time." [Hmmm, red flag?] She continues, "It's just the way they word it, but it's not a situation where you will pay a monthly lease payment for years and then be met with a huge payoff amount at the end to own it. The only payment you would have to make is 2 months additional at the rate of you're monthly payment after you pay off the equipment at the end of the term, if you choose to take the entire time to pay it off. But yes, you will own it in the end." *** Note: not a word for word exact quotation of her statement but the vital points were jotted down on my notepad when she and I spoke on the phone to resolve my concerns. I felt satisfied that we both had a meeting of the minds and the terms of the contract were explained to me in detail. And I would be able to pay it off early without any of the things I was concerned about. *** The Denouement Unfolds: Lies, Fraud, Misrepresentation. Was I egregiously lied to, and told what I wanted to hear just to get me to sign the contract? Here we are Jan/Feb 2020 and I am holding them to our conversation about paying off this printer. I have the money to pay them off, but they are now telling me that I can't pay off the $10,499.... after I had put a down payment of $900 in Sept, and have made 4 payments of $740. They are telling me that I signed the contract that I was going to pay the 33 months term X the monthly payment totaling $22K. I don't know what planet I thought I was living on but the usual cause of business in similar dealings, one would not be charged finance charges that would happen in the future when a person decides to pay something off early. And as I asked previously, with bold emphasis, if I could pay it off without any pre-penalty or huge unexpected charges to pay this off early, I was told No. So why do I have to pay a surprise cost that totals something that is 2x the fair market value of the equipment. HOW IS THIS LEGAL? They can come an repossess this printer if they cannot let me pay off the 10 grand I owe them. In Closing: 1) is this Fraud/Misrepresentation? I specifically asked and made it clear my intent on how I was going to pay them back and we went over the terms and come to a MEETING OF THE MINDS on what the interpretation of the rules are. 2) A detrimental reliance on the their promise and their explanation of the terms, and both of our concerns are met with symmetry with benefits that runs fairly to both sides of the contract. THIS ALL HAD TO BE MET BEFORE I WOULD SIGN. I would not legally bind myself into a business dealing without my needs being met. I ASKED ALL OF THIS BEFORE I SIGNED. 3) They are telling me now that I had signed the contract and its clear in there that I have to pay for the 33 months if I want to pay it off now. Insert:[hands up, shrugging shoulders emoji] What has the world become when you take the preemptive measures to make sure people don't bamboozle you but they seem to find ways to surprise you anyways?

Scam Company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Stay away from this company... my husband retired from the army and he is a 90% disabled veteran.

Its been a complete struggle sense getting out of military for him and myself . We were told by Pawnee that they would work with us sense my family served our country and we were just starting up our new business and needed alittle help .We thought getting some start up credit would help. They said it would help. We bought $11000.00 worth of equipment and we will have paid well over $23000 for it when done.

Wow over double the money. They were nice at first and we paid auto draft for over 2 years. Never late !!!! We had our bank account wiped with fraud and had to close that business account and start new account etc..

plus we lost hundreds of dollars from fraud. PAWNEE has given us a hard time sense then. They have charged hundreds of dollars in fees saying they closed the account (which cost us $300 to open again) who knows what that fee was for made no sense at all. we have still paid our payments..

they didnt have the right account numbers to draft and still charged us late fees. As well as sending us nasty emails saying "are you ever going to pay your bill".. oh your account didnt clear again and the money was there. They just sent us a threatening email 2 days ago saying they would repose our equipment and it it would cost us $400 to have some one come out and pick it up..

we paid our bill .. we are current too. we have only 6 payments left and we have already paid them over $21000.00... are you kidding me .

What a scam of a business.... these types of businesses scam people including veterans that served their country. Yes companies need to make their money . I understand that but this company is full of lies and scams you out of thousands of dollars.

Oh sends non stop rude emails and well as sarcastically said phone messages.

I hope they can sleep at night knowing that they messed up a family that sacrificed everything for their country for this company as well to have the freedom to scam people. I will continue to tell people not to use Pawnee for any funding or leasing.

"Wow over double the money" Wow!! YOU and/or HUSBAND agreed to this.

It was in the paperwork you signed. You can tell losers who don't know what personal responsibility is by the way they pad out a complaint irrelevant facts to gain sympathy. No one cares if your husband served or is disabled. Plenty of disabled service members were smart enough NOT TO sign up for @#$$# like this.

You like a broke fool walked into this place and signed up for last chance poor credit nonsense. They didn't hold a gun to your head. What they did was slide some LAME mess in front of you. It was on YOU to READ and UNDERSTAND what you were getting into.

If YOU didn't, you should have passed on the deal. Now that YOUR stupidity is coming back to bite you, you're talking about class actions, something serial dead beats love to think about and blame the big bad finance company for putting on over on you. This is a great post that I will show to the kids. It will teach them what happens if you're stupid enough to get int a deal like that and what a whining, baby-like loser looks like.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING you don't READ/UNDERSTAND or plan to pay back in a timely fashion. It's not that hard. You ate the steak, it's time to pay for it like a REAL woman.

OK...Your turn... Serial Dead Beat fools love to say this...."You must work for them."

all of the people who have fallen victim to the PAWNEE LEASING CORP. let me say you are not alone.

I do not believe you understand the just how many people have been victimized and will continue to be if they are not challenged. First you must know who they are and how they operate. Follow this link and see the face of Pawnee's COO.https://www.monitordaily.com/article-posts/pawnee-leasing-30th-anniversary/ Gary H. Souverein, President & COO, Pawnee Leasing Corporation He extols the 30 years he's been taking advantage of the leasing business and business is good.

He names the investors and banks that have joined him in his quest and the names will blow you away. We are taking about major investment groups and they are all about the Benjamins. Who better to take them from then the weakest consumers in the markets. I could go on and on about the players but do some digging and you'll see just how well connected these people are.

Here is a good place to start. Chesswood Group holds a 100% interest in Chesswood Holdings Ltd. Chesswood Holdings Ltd. owns 100% of the shares of the operating companies: Blue Chip Leasing Corporation ("Blue Chip") incorporated in Ontario, Lease-Win Limited, Case Funding Inc.

("Case Funding"), as well as 100% of the shares of Chesswood U.S. Acquisition Co Ltd. (“U.S. Acquisitionco”), a corporation which owns 100% of the shares of each of the operating subsidiaries Pawnee Leasing Corporation (“Pawnee”), incorporated in Colorado, United States, Tandem Finance Inc.

("Tandem"), incorporated in Colorado, United States and Windset Capital Corporation ("Windset"), incorporated in Delaware, United States. In addition, Pawnee holds, through consolidated, wholly-owned Special Purpose Entities ("SPEs"), a portfolio of leases and loans which are financed through arm's length financial institutions. If you are in a contract with any of above companies be prepared to go to the mat! They will rip you to shreds in court and take every asset they can lay their hands on ie: bank accounts, property, and anything else that's not protected by state or federal laws.

They designed a contact that strips you of your rights and it’s been very effective for them. The only way to get to them is through their wallets! Their weakness is the BROKERS they use to push consumers into these contacts. They are the first link in the chain and the weakest.

They depend on them to keep the cash following. They have over 500 of them nationwide. These complaint boards help you vent but has no effect on them. You must file complaints with your state and federal protection agencies, write your congressman, Attorney General's office, FCC, Federal Trade commission put it out there to anyone and everyone and let them explain it to them!

I have begun working on an action to bring them front and center but need you support.

If you are NOT FAINT OF HEART join me together the many shall be heard and hopefully granted some justice. Please contact me at Dreadpirateroberts321@***.com

Thanks for the information. I have some proof that their broker committed fraud.

The contract IP address of the signature was in Fort Collins CO. Same city as Pawnee. The victim has proof of car rental, hotels meal, and airplane ticket no where near the place or time of the signing, the first signature was refused because of inaccurate security questions.

4 hours later the security questions were answered and contract signed. We have not been served yet, but according to some evidence from outside settlements; Pawnee has some known brokers that are convicted felons and a number of statements from ex employees about their internal practices.

I was bought a product for my business for $29K. I found out that it was a lease and couldn't be paid off early with out paying all the interest over 3 years. I will have now paid over $43K. I tried to paid it off within 4 months of starting the loan! Run Run Run. I can't imagine anyone being so dispirit to have to use them. If you are going to use them, make sure to ad them to a BK. Maybe if everyone did this they might go BK.

Signing a deal with the DEVIL!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I also am having an extreamly horrible time with Pawnee Leasing, I signed a deal with the DEVIL! NEVER again will I EVER go into another lease with anyone for anything. I am leasing salon funiture which is JUNK! However the company I got the funiture from refused to uphold the warrenty and refused to allow me to return it. I contacted Pawnee thinking they would be decent and help, but that would cause them to lose money so no help there. The orignal price of the funiture was $6, 000 and I have to pay $500 for 3 years that is over $15, 000 for junk funiture. Triple what the stuff is worth. I thought I was leasing and when I stated making some money in my new salon I would buy some better funiture and return this JUNK. On top of this I had major medical issues a few months ago which caused me to have to close my salon for 2 months, They would not work with me at all on this instead started charging me crazy fees totalling almost $1, 000 and raised my leasing payment up. I have 11 payments left and they are telling me I still owe them $8, 000 that doesnt add up!!! they are CROOKS and HEARTLESS. *** they charged me $100 just to change my due date on the payment. They have to be breaking some laws and someone has to help all these people that have been screwed by them. They should be SHUT DOWN & SUED!!! I was not given a chance to have lawyers look at any of this agreement cause they put a time frame on it. They know exactly what they are doing. and anyone working for them should be ASHAMED of themselves for working for a company that take advantage of those that need another option. Starting a business without help from banks is extreamly hard, and growing it is even harder. Thanks for the support Pawnee and employees..

We have been dinged for the past 3 months for their insurance on our leased equipment, even though we got the insurance back in November. They did not accept the certificate our broker sent them and kept sending it back for changes, values, etc. So we ended up paying twice for the insurance. They refused to credit us for the last 3 months. They have poor customer service...

Random calls asking for lump sums of money

Our company bought a truck 4 months ago, set it up on automatic payments when we started the loan. Allied the first month asking for a pro rated payment that was almost as expensive as the regular payment before they could draft the first payment. Nobody explained that would happen at the deal. 4 months later, today, they call and ask for $900 for title fees... when I explained it wasn’t normal for your loan company to call out of the blue asking for money and I wanted proof of the title charges that she said they paid for us and needed reimbursement for before I paid it. She transferred me and I never spoke with anyone. I’m assuming they will call back. Not good business!! Will not use them again.
